Azealia Banks - Van Vogue

For the Summer daze

I bought these white monochrome Converse's almost 2 months ago, they've become my favourite shoes of the Summer. They are leather, so they're ultra durable and waterproof (perf for London aha). The white is fresh and it being monochrome just adds to that freshness. The perf thing with these (and Chuck Tay's in general) is that you can dress it up or go casual. Currently exclusive to Office and retail for around £65.

PS, I just took this picture so they don't get hella dirty.

Verbal & Yoon

Two of my favourite people. Two style icons.
Both behind one brand (Ambush).

Verbal & Yoon spoke with i-D in Paris en route to a show, answering a few questions as their
driver weaved his way through the bustling Parisian streets.

The Fit: It was a SUNday...

Tee: Brick Lane, Shorts: Topman General Store, Watch: Casio, Bracelets & Sunglasses: Vintage
The skies were blue, the sun was shining and smiles were endemic. It was a beautiful day in London. One must savour every moment of these rare days and show some skin! Jokes aside, this is just a simple outfit especially good for those hot days.

Details: The aztec detailing on the short, combined with the bracelets add flavour with compromising simplicity. The tee, which I came across in Brick Lane, I just love. It adds a sort of comedic element, whilst paying tribute to the major fashion house of Céline. The sunglasses just ooze cool & quirkiness.

July's Crush: Rita Ora

The latest Roc Nation sensation, Rita Ora, is July's crush. She's talented, fun and has an awesome sense of style. Rita's pictures have been hovering all over Tumblr for years, ever since Drake's Over music video, but it wasn't until 2012 that world heard an official release from the elusive swagged-out songstress: RIP (Feat. Tinie Tempah) for the Brits and  How We Do (Party) for the US. Her debut album, Ora, is expected this summer, pre-order now!

In terms of style, Rita is very sport luxe with a fresh urban flair. Often accenting her outfits with a beanie, Jordans and serious gold- an ode to the 90's. You can see that Rita Ora enjoys experimenting with clothing and accessories, especially now that everything is now within arms reach with much thanks to the newbie hype and Roc Nation backing. Here's Miss Ora with Shine Ya Light....

More Rita pics after the jump!

Unf...

So I'm currently obsessed with black and gold, specifically cuban link chains.
With this relatively new obsession combined with an ancient one for eyewear, as soon as I laid eyes upon Céline's CL Gold Chain Sunglasses I was completely lovestruck. Yeah... just... unf...

Soundtrack: National Anthem

This video sports Lana as Jackie O and A$AP Rocky as JFK. Sound's interesting, right? Check it out.

This has to be one of my favourite videos of 2012: MIA's Bad Girls, A$AP Rocky's Goldie and Lana's National Anthem are my nominees. Everything from the videography to the song to the cast to the styling is just perf. It's a very tasteful and aesthetically pleasing visual. In case you haven't guessed already, I love it! Haha.

From London to Denfert-Rochereau (Paris)

So, I recently went to Paris, as part of a school trip. Oh, how I love that city. It was my second time being there and I loved it! Only went for a few days, need to go back for longer very soon.

The Big Weekend

I was lucky enough to get my hands on tickets to BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend! I got the best day and that's me being modest haha. Saw the likes of Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Swedish House Mafia, Delilah, Rudimental, Rizzle Kicks, Nicki Minaj & Ed Sheeran. Oh, not sure if you've heard of this guy called Jay-Z? Yeah, he was there too. Here's what I wore...

Earlier on in the day, Rita Ora said it was going to be a "Roc Nation Takeover". She was far from wrong! Jay-Z came out to Run This Town with the one and only Rihanna. Oh, the surprises didn't stop there. MIA popped up. 'Bad girls do it well' even with a defected mic. Then Kanye arrived and shit got majorly cray. The euphoric 'Nigga's in Paris', after being played 3 times, brought the show to an end. It was sick!

Soundtrack: Hella Good

We're less than a month away from No Doubt's official comeback. So here's one of my favourite No Doubt tracks to celebrate...

The new album, which will be their 6th, is entitled 'Push and Shove'. The lead track is Settle Down and will be released 16th July along with the video (which was shot last week). I cannot wait. Love them, love Gwen.

I'M BACK!!

The way I ditched this blog was just shameful. So sorry guys!
But I am a man with a plan so stay tuned!
